• Our first trip to India, and my wife and I were not very sure what to expect. Along with the beauty and diversity of India, we had been warned about the dirt, the roads and the crowds. And about everything that could go wrong! But despite all our fears, I have to say that this trip was better organized than the one we took in South America last year. I must compliment you on the level of involvement of the staff, and the way every detail was taken care of for us. Our driver from Delhi to Agra and Agra to Jaipur was absolutely superb. Our ride was smooth and safe, and he was attentive to our needs at all times. I understand that he is in the employ of your company, and not hired out to you. Obviously, Tamarind Tours trains the staff very well! Thank you once again for the wonderful arrangements!

• We have just returned from our holiday in Rajasthan… and what a holiday it was! Always knew that India was going to be fantastic, but this was totally sublime. Special thanks to Chetan for organizing the wonderful guide in Jodhpur, particularly the visit to the Bishnoi village. I would recommend Rajasthan and Tamarind Tours readily to anybody who wants to go to India. The only downside was the weather- the heat was a bit too much to take! We really appreciated the attentive driver who always made sure he had our car running with the aircon on, when we were ready to get in. The palace hotels were quite and experience!

• Hello Tamarind Tours! I am writing on behalf of our group, all of who unanimously wish to thank you all for so efficiently organizing our trip to North India. The logistics of transporting 13 of us with flights, long road journeys, hotels, sightseeing and meals must have been difficult, given that we each had our own preferences! Chetan from your Delhi office was most patient, and took all our discussions and arguments in his stride. Visiting Dharamshala and Manali involved long drives, but the driver of our bus was absolutely fantastic. Our only problem was that the trip was too short. I wish you had recommended at least two days more, and we would have liked to stay longer in Dalhousie.

• I cannot thank you enough for arranging my trip to Kerala for my Ayurvedic treatment. I must say I was very skeptical about the whole thing, and not at all sure that my chronic arthritis would be relieved in any way. Plus, three weeks away from home, in a remote village in Kerala, was daunting, to say the least. I am happy to report that there is so much improvement that I have started going for walks now, after months of being housebound. Your people in south India made me so comfortable, by visiting me at the hotel and keeping tabs on my progress- it was like home away from home!
